Recent Travels

The only good thing about Macao was the cheep beer with the old school rip tabs. Otherwise it was hot, muggy, full of gamblers and forever cloudy.

Actually there was some pretty interesting old colonial influence. Lots of spanish looking buildings in the old district.

THAILAND

What is the odd thing out? Yip it is the clear beer bottle, the other two are brown. Other than that there is nothing odd about three men having a quiet beer together.

My first Elephant, pretty cool.

Who says sex doesn't sell. I bought several beers at the G-Spot bar.

Doing Stuff In KL

Bit of a jungle river crossing. In front is Pat the local Canadian Ex Phys guru.

We were warned about leeches. This one had been sucking for 30 mins. It started off about 1/8 of its current size.

This is the entrance to Batu Caves. There are heaps of Indian shrines to the various Hindu incarnations. The steps on the way up are guarding by monkeys. These things actually attack you to steal food from your back pack.

The view from inside the caves.

MTB Worlds

Hey, Here are some pics from the recent world champs in Rotovegas. Had a real cool time catching yup with everyone and got a great birthday cake too! Got a bunch of the R&R guys racing if anyone wants some pictures.

Julien Absolum world champ three years running

The boys lined up and ready to go.

His coach trained him to ride but Jack wanted to walk so he could take in the sights and sounds.

I did my best to distract the Aussie downhillers by perfectly timing my flash in their eyes meters before the big jump.

These guys were amazing. He is balancing on his bike ready to jump up onto the paletes

Made the mistake of leaving my camera at the hotel one day. I knew Luke and Marcus ride for the R&R Team just didn't know they played for the same side. The pictures got worse here on in and I can't post them because this is G rated blogg.
